Victor Cruz Comforts Family of Shooting Victim - NYTimes.com - Cruz reached out to the parents of one of the victims, Jack Pinto, a 6-year-old who was a fan of the Giants and Cruz. Cruz wrote Jack’s name and “My Hero” on his cleats (and put a similar message on his gloves), and said that he was told by Jack’s parents that they were considering burying Jack in a No. 80 Giants jersey. - He said after the game that he hoped to visit Jack’s family this week, “even if it’s just for an hour.” He added that he planned to bring the shoes and gloves with him as gifts.
